CryptoMondays Wall Street x ETHConf NYC, presented by 1inch and Troutman Pepper Locke, opened Ethereum Conference Week in New York City with a private, invitation-only gathering bringing together founders, investors, operators, attorneys, builders, and market leaders for substantive conversations around real world assets, institutional infrastructure, regulatory clarity, capital formation, and the practical next chapter of Web3 adoption.
Hosted by Joe Cox of Valmar Capital on behalf of CryptoMondays Wall Street, the June 8 event at Troutman Pepper Locke’s New York City offices was deliberately designed for quality of conversation over volume. The curated room reflected the market’s current trajectory: one in which speculation gives way to real business use cases, compliant structures, and tangible blockchain utility.
The evening’s program opened with a keynote address from Jahon Jamali, founder of American Crypto Academy (ACA), who underscored the critical role that education plays in bridging the gap between tokenized real world assets and actionable, real world solutions. Jamali argued that institutional adoption cannot scale without a foundation of literacy and positioned ACA as a central resource in building that foundation for the professional and institutional market.
Jamali’s keynote was followed by an in-depth panel featuring Scott Shay of N3XT, Irena Timofeeva, Head of BD for 1inch, and Kelly Yee of CoinBridge, with strategic partners including 1inch, Troutman Pepper Locke, and American Crypto Academy.
In conjunction with the event, presenting sponsor 1inch announced the release of reDeFine Money, a limited-edition oral history of decentralized finance featuring never-before-heard firsthand accounts from the founders behind landmark protocols including Aave, MakerDAO, Curve, 1inch, SushiSwap, PancakeSwap, and others. Spanning DeFi Summer through the FTX and Luna collapses, the book tells the inside story of how DeFi reshaped global finance and where it is headed. Consistent with DeFi’s open-source ethos, the digital edition of reDeFine Money will be made available free of charge via the 1inch website, with a limited run of physical copies distributed exclusively through select 1inch events, conferences, and community activations.
Produced and curated with NFT VIP, the event reflects founder Julie Lamb’s longstanding commitment to building rooms where access, trust, relevance, and relationship capital define the experience. NFT VIP operates across crypto, culture, luxury, media, and institutional ecosystems — connecting communities, brands, and ideas through high-quality experiences designed for the attention economy.
